I'm finding out a bunch of differences! I surely can't remember all of them now... but specifically in language... here goes nothing!
American British
TJ Maxx TK Maxx (I know. Why.)
Sick meaning any unhealthiness "Sick" specifically refers to stomach illness, while "ill" is like a cold
Movie theater "Theatre" is for live entertainment. "Cinemas" are where movies are!
Football Gridiron, or American football
Soccer Football (sometimes rugby is called this, too)
Chips Crisps
Fries Chips (this was probably the hardest one to master!)
Band-Aid Plaster
Weekly planner Diary
Major Programme
Class Module
... I know there are more! But I can't think of any at the moment. It really is like another language!
